Hair clipped from rabbits and dyed for men's and women's hats, in the United States, France and Belgium. The grades are known as follows : - (1) Wild rabbit, C. (coney), C.B. (coney backs), B.C.B. (best coney backs), B.S.C.B. (best Scottish coney back); (2) Tame rabbit. Extra Extra (clapiers). No. 1 (petit bon), Mottled (bariole), black (noire), jardinier, wore (cendre), fawn (rouge). No. 2 (moyen), white (blanc)
